Today I show you a very creative and recycled gift idea!
Fortunately it does not happen often to me, but in summer it can happen that fruits and vegetables ripen too quickly and we are unable to eat them anymore and have to throw them away! So I did some research, and here's what I found!

Let's start with the first:
AMERICAN TOWEL MAIS

What you need to have:
- A panicle
- A cotton american towels
- Spit
- Paint for fabrics (color of your choice)
- Brush / Sponge
METHOD:
- Thread the panicle with the spit for the long side.
- Then with the brush or the sponge go to take some paint and then distribute it on the whole panicle.
- At this point, holding the panicle as in the picture, roll it on the fabric applying a constant pressure (if you want a uniform effect) or lighter in some points (for a more washed effect).
- Allow to dry well and then if necessary, iron the table mat according to the paint manufacturer's instructions.

What you need to have:
- Cabbage leaves and a mushroom
- Paper for light-colored
- Tempera (color of your choice)
- Brush / Sponge
METHOD:
- With the brush or the sponge go to take some tempera and then distribute it on the outside of the leaf and on the head of the mushroom.
- Then use the leaf as a stamp on the gift paper and do the same thing with the mushroom!
- Leave to dry well and then pack the gift with the new wrapping paper!

- Half a lemon
- Pillowcase
- Paint for fabric
- Brush / Sponge
METHOD:
- With the brush or the sponge go to take some tempera and then distribute it on the inner half of the lemon.
- Then use the lemon as a stamp on the fabric (see photo)
- Allow to dry well and then cover the pillow.
WATERMELON BAG

What you need to have:
- A quarter of a potato (cut it for the long and then cut half for the short side getting the piece you need)
- Fabric bag
- Paint for red, black and green fabric
- Brush / Sponge

METHOD:
- With the brush or the sponge go to take some tempera and then distribute it on the half-moon potato.
- Then use the potato as a stamp on the fabric (see photo)
- With a small brush and the black color go to create the seeds of the watermelon and then with the green peel.
- Allow to dry well and then if necessary, iron the bag according to the paint manufacturer's instructions.
And here it is done! 4 prints made from fruits and vegetables that allow us to obtain original and very special accessories.
