Sweet Jar!

Hello everyone!

New post very greedy!

In my opinion, the gifts that can be eaten are always the most appreciated. Under the Christmas period it is often used to donate baskets full of delicacies, biscuits, chocolates and much more!
Personally I have already tried in the past to make Christmas baskets and I must say that it is quite expensive both in terms of cost and in terms of time. Fill a basket with only handmade things is very challenging!
So I decided to put aside the idea for this year and I selected a very good alternative in my opinion:

Found on myrecipes.com

Sweet Jar: it is a jar containing all sorts of sweets, both packaged and made by hand.

The recipe in question is very simple and consists in the preparation of white chocolate with dried fruit!

Difficulty:
Cost:
Time:

Ingredients:

  • 500g of white chocolate
  • pistachios q.b
  • prunes or dried apricots q.b.
  • dehydrated raspberries q.b (alternatively you can use goji berries)

Method:

  1. Shred the prunes / dried apricots and add them to the rest of the dried fruit in a small bowl. (do not exaggerate with the quantities, start with little and at most after add what you need)
  2. Prepare the water bath
  3. Pour the chocolate into the bowl placed on the water bath and mix carefully. When there are still some solid pieces of chocolate, remove the bowl from the water bath and continue stirring until it is all melted.
  4. At this point pour all the melted chocolate on a baking sheet previously lined with baking paper.
  5. Roll out the chocolate with a spatula and make a rectangle with a thick of about half a centimeter.
  6. Pour the dried fruit over the entire surface of the rectangle and let it cool until the chocolate is solid and incorporates the fruit.
  7. Chop the chocolate plate into many pieces.
  8. Pour the chocolate pieces into an hermetic glass jar.
  9. Decorate the jar with a label that indicates the ingredients of the recipe accompanied by a message of good wishes!

And the Sweet Jar is ready!
