You know how much I love handmade gifts and even more if they are created from recycled material, I think it's a good compromise between giving vent to your creativity and being ecological! Also I think it is very fun to use one object to create another with a completely different purpose!

So today I want to show you this idea for a decorative Christmas gift that I liked very much!

METHOD:
  1. If they are not disassembled, remove the large and small clothes pegs. They need 8 large clothes pegs and 8 small clothes pegsfor each single snowflake.
  2. Glue the large and small clothes pegs as seen in the picture with hot glue. Once disassembled you will have two parts of the clothes pegs that you will have to glue making adhere to one the mirror part of the other.
  3. Once the pegs are glued and two flakes (one large and one small) are left to dry for an hour.
  4. Subsequently with the white tempera paint both the flakes and leave to dry for good.
  5. Then pass a thin layer of glittery glue on the flakes and before it dries, sprinkle with white glitter. Cover one side first, let it dry, then cover the other side and let it dry again.

    1. At this point you can glue the smallest flakes over the larger one using hot glue. Or if you prefer you can leave them separate!
