Cats usually eat grass because they suffer from digestive disorders, they need to "clean up" the stomach and intestines and help themselves with the blades of grass.
As for catnip, this delicacy is loved by cats because of a natural substance, the nepetalactone, which attracts cats and allows them to feed the strands of grass rich in vitamins, minerals and essential oils.

What do you need to have:

• cup with a kitten's snout
• catnip seeds

METHOD:

1. Take the cup and fill it with topsoil.
2. Sow the cat grass but do not exaggerate with the quantity. For many blades of grass a larger space would be needed, in this case a small handful would suffice.
3. While you wait for the grass to grow, leave the cup away from the cat in a sunny place (even outdoors).
4. Wet every day however in small quantities.

The catnip will last about a month since it was born, then to replant the new seeds just remove the blades of dead grass and remove the soil from the residues.
