Best memories calendar
New post ahead of the end of this year 2017!
Usually when you get closer to the new year, you think back to past moments, good emotions and bad ones, good intentions for the future and those "escaped" in the past.
I believe that in order to look to the future it is also essential to look a bit 'to the past and that's why I think this gift idea is very significant. Today I show you how to make a calendar best memories that can be donated during the Christmas holidays as a good omen for the new year and also future ones!
It is a very simple gift and at the same time full of meaning, for this reason I think it is the perfect gift for a person very dear to us.

What you need:
- Balsa wood
- Black marker
- C hooks
- 12 photos
- White cardboard
- Ruler
- Hot glue
- Hacksaw
- Brush
- Acrylic color
- Paper hole puncher
Method:
- Cut two pieces of balsa wood of the same size with a hacksaw. I advise not to cut the piece under 21 cm in length so that you can hang the three cards spaced between them.
- Paint one or both pieces of balsa wood with the acrylic color that you prefer.
- Measure with the ruler the points where to put the hooks considering the width you want to get from the cards and the distance you want to leave between them. At this point, drill the wood and fasten the hooks.
- With hot glue, assemble the 2 pieces of wood one perpendicular to the other
- Prepare the cards to hang on the hooks. We need to create 3 groups of cards: the first one with the printed and glued photos showing in a space the name of the month, the second with the numbers written in marker from 0 to 3 and the third group with the numbers from 0 to 9.
- Drill the cards with a sheet puncher.Hang the cards on the calendar.
