Ingredients:
- 400g of flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of bicarbonate
- a pinch of salt
- 200g of butter
- 200g of sugar
- 2 eggs
- vanillin
- a spoon of lemon juice
- zest of 1 lemon
- edible flowers
- heart molds for biscuits
for the frosting:
- 2 whites
- 200g of powdered sugar
- a teaspoon of lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
METHOD:
- In a bowl mix the flour, baking powder, bicarbonate, vanillin and salt.
- In another bowl mix the sugar together with the butter until a soft mixture is obtained. Add the eggs, juice and zest.
- Add the floury mixture to the soft mixture and knead until all is mixed.
- Form a dough and wrap it with the film. Leave to rest in the fridge for at least an hour.
- In the planetary pour the egg whites and start mixing at medium speed.
- When the egg whites start to foam, add the icing sugar a little at a time. Then add the juice and vanilla and mix until you obtain a sufficiently "sticky" mixture typical of the glaze.
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C and then remove the dough from the fridge. Roll it out and cup the biscuits about a half inch high.
- Bake the biscuits for about 10 minutes, until they are golden.
- Allow the biscuits to cool completely and then glaze them and sprinkle them with the flowers.
