What do you need to have (for about 15 cupcakes):
- 125g of softened butter
- 200g of sugar
- 4 eggs
- a few drops of almond extract
- 150g of self-raising flour
- 175g of ground almonds
For decoration:

- icing sugar q.s
- 55g of green fondant
- 1 tablespoon of water
- 25g of red fondant
- Holly stencil
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
- Pour the butter and sugar into a large bowl and beat them with the whisk until a soft mixture is obtained.
- Add the eggs one at a time, then the almond extract and continue to beat.
- Sift the flour and add it a little at a time into the bowl, stirring constantly. Add the ground almonds and keep stirring.
- With a spoon, pour the mixture into cupcakes and bake for about 20 minutes.
- Let the cupcakes cool once cooked and well browned.
- Roll out the white fondant with a rolling pin to a thickness of 5mm, helping with the icing sugar to prevent the dough from sticking to the rolling pin.
- With a round shape of 7cm in diameter cut as many disks as cupcakes and then arrange each round of fondant over the sweets.
